Review the basic tools in MS Word
  • Activity 1: Using the Page Layout Ribbon and www.Lyrics.com create a visually appealing poster. Must fit on 8"x11" paper, and use at least 5 different tools on the Page Layout Ribbon primary focus on Shapes.
Using Tables to make forms
  • Brainstorm as a group and make list of the forms you use. Think of others ones that maybe your parents or teachers use.
  • Activity 2: Using tables, create a form.

Our Class Wiki Site
Sept 14th - We worked on Links in our Wiki. You should know that I changed the privacy settings, so only those of use who are members and are logged in can see this wiki. I also changed title to Our Class.
Your job is to:
  1. Create your own page which will be your digital portfolio for this class. Tag it with your name.
  2. Need to have: at least one link to another website: school, go edu star, my wiki, bottom line it is your choice
  3. Upload and insert at least one document - I suggest the form you made, also the Lyrics creation, one can even use the picture we took with Jing and embed it!!!
  4. Use a widget like the table of contents; ask for clarity in class if you aren't sure. I would rather show you then describe it length here! Thanks.

The goal is to create a 30 second clip that tells a story. The story is your choice.
